Peter Landry Obituary
Peter was employed for 29 years as a machinist at Electric Boat. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Kelly) Landry; a daughter, Casie Landry of Waltham, Mass.; his mother, Audrey Landry of Orocovis, Puerto Rico; a sister, Leslie Becker and her husband, Joe, of Norwood, Mass.; a brother, Stephen Landry and his partner, Linda Merchant, of Hudson, Mass.; a sister, Renee Rushton and her husband, Rob, of Boston, England; his sister-in-law, Joyce Clift and her husband, James, and his brother-in-law, Anthony Kelly, all of Westerly, R.I.; many nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Leonard Landry; a brother, Jeffrey Crane; and stepfather, Felix Rivera.
There will be a celebration of life gathering between 3 and 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, at Filomena's Restaurant, 262 Boston Post Road, Waterford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.habitat.org/where-we-build/puerto-rico.
The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Peter dude I will miss you.I had a mass said for you and Tommy Donlon. my two close friends from lakeview.had lots of fun with you in home room in 8th grade at Kennedy Jr high.dude sorry I could not hold back my tears when I found out you were gone.remember all the ice cream and cupcakes you and Tommy bought me in the cafe in 8th and 9th grade.I will miss you a lot. Pete was the go to Machinist boss at Electric Boat for all the hard jobs that needed to get done right the first time. He didn't always tell you what you wanted to hear, but always told you what you needed to hear. Hard working, knowledgeable, tireless and always honest, he was the man you wanted on your team. We will miss you Pete! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our dear friend Pete:
We will miss his boisterous laugh, burly hugs, and stories of the day with a sparkle in his eye. He always shared his favorite things with the people he loved and the people he loved loved him right back.

I was deeply saddened to read of Pete's passing. It was a pleasure to work with him for many years at Electric Boat. Always willing to help in any way he could, always a gentleman, sometimes hard to find in the shipyard.
