Peter Tal Obituary
He was born in New London, Jan. 21, 1947, the son of Hazel and Joseph Tal. He is survived by his wife Margie; daughter Michele; brother Phillip; and sister Betsy.
He grew up in Waterford. After Art School he served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a celebrated artist as well as husband, father, and friend.
For many years he was a fixture at Chuck's Steakhouse in New London, known to many as "the Colonel".
There will be a celebration of his life from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 23, at Vero Beach Heritage Center.

Peter Tal was a student of my Father´s @WHS . He was a good man and well knowledgeable restaurateur at Chuck´s Steakhouse in NL. Did not realize Pete lived in Vero Beach. I lived just South of him including Jupiter and NPB between 1974-1984. Rest in eternal peace.
