Ralph Polley Obituary

Niantic - Ralph Jordan Polley, 94, of 417 Main Street, Niantic, died Friday, June 27, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Polley was born July 16, 1930, in Danbury, the son of Howard and Katherine Polley.

After graduating from Danbury High School, he attended Dartmouth College.

He was employed as a physicist at NUSC until his retirement in 1981.

He married Melitta Ann Conner in 1962, and they moved to East Lyme in 1965, where they raised their family.

After his retirement, Mr. Polley was a musician playing the piano with a classical quartet as well as a band.

Mr. Polley is survived by his beloved wife Ann; daughter Allison (Andrew) Hirsch of Brookline, Mass.; and son Lee Jordan Polley (Liliana) of Manchester; as well as four grandchildren.

To honor his wishes services will be private.
