Richard Meyer Obituary

Richard Meyer, (a.k.a. UR, Rich, R-Man) of Fall River, Mass., passed away peacefully Oct. 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 4,1951, in Roslyn, N.Y. He was known for his sharp wit and intense love for his 14 nieces and nephews and 22 grandnieces and nephews.

Rich was a valued, longtime general foreman for Russco, Inc. of Fall River, Mass.

Rich was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Aileen Meyer. He is survived by his siblings: Mary Froeb (Richard), Bill (Sandy), Bob (Debbie), Tom (Virginia) and Patricia.

Rich loved the NY Yankees, rock & roll, painting and the highway. Most of all he had a deep, unconditional love for his family.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Mystic Congregational Church, 43 East Main Street, in Mystic.

Donations in memory of Rich may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Forever Paws Animal Shelter, Fall River.
