He treasured his role as Grandpa and holds a special place in the hearts of all of his grandchildren. He also leaves his dog, Cooper who made him laugh every day. He is also survived by his brother, Fran and his wife, Josephine, of East Hartford. His passing is mourned by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Aunt Edna, David, Douglas, Donald, Darlene and families,
My children and I extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I will always hold the memories of our many visits to Niantic and New London with my parents, the great crab cookouts and sandy beach fun. Mrs. Beaches rose bushes and of course your visit to NH. Wayne sent his condolences and remembers fun times together. God bless you all and know that I am there with you in spirit. Please see my note for missing the "great event" and your memorial service. You made my family feel welcomed. Thank you.
Your niece and cousin, Maureen

Aunt Edna and Family

Alice and I extend our condolences to you and your family. Although we did not get to see Uncle Dick at his 80th birthday, we still have great memories from the family reunion last year. Uncle Dick enjoyed life, loved to travel and did not let any health issue stop him. We will miss him.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Edna and Cousins,
I am so saddened to learn of Uncle Dick's passing. Coming so soon after my Mom's, really fills me with grief. I am so glad I was able to join everyone for Uncle Dick's birthday. The party was so great and I have so many pictures of the event to enjoy. I am glad I saw you both in Bartow so often, and I will treasure those memories. I loved listening to Uncle Dick discuss all the Bartow gossip and his volunteering on the boards. He so enjoyed living in Floral Lakes.
Much love to the entire family and I say thanks for planning the most wonderful 8oth birthday party for a GREAT, GREAT Uncle!
Love,
Cousin George
