Ronald Pelletier Obituary
Born in Danielson, on Nov. 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Hector and Alice (LaFave) Pelletier, and the loving husband of Cora M. (Kibbe) Pelletier. Ron began his work career at Kaman Aircraft before accepting a position at Electric Boat where he retired as a senior designer in 1997.
He loved travelling throughout the United States and Canada and when given the choice would choose the byway over the highway. He was an incredibly talented craftsman who loved carpentry and woodworking. He especially enjoyed the challenges of planning a project and following it through to its completion. But most of all he was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Cora, he is survived by his daughter, Rhonda C. Pelletier; and son, Ronald C. Pelletier and companion, Denise Metz.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489, the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA 02445 or the Connecticut Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill, CT 06375.

Cora and Family. I did not know Ron but my memory was often visiting Alice in the Cut Rate Drug Store with my grandmother when I was quite a bit younger. My grandmother was Marion Pelletier Murray, Ron's aunt and sister-in-law of Alice. Alice was always talking about her beloved Ronnie and you. Even at a young age I could see how proud she was and what a wonderful person he must have been. So many thoughts and prayers are with you as Ron has no passed on. He was obviously a wonderful man.
