Russell Raymond Obituary
Raymond worked for Connecticut Light and Power for over 35 years before his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Russ love the outdoors and doing home remodeling.
He is survived by his two daughters, Susan Boyer and her husband Paul of Florida and Jacqueline LePage and her husband Emile of Plainfield; his beloved companion Lois Craven of Old Lyme; a sister Jenny Garofalo of Cromwell. Russ also has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A private service is scheduled at the Duck River Cemetery in Old Lyme.

o many memories of Russ and his late wife Jackie. He lived next door to us in Niantic. We spent lots of time together traveling to Maine and to many dog shows. He taught me how to show my beloved dog Rachel, She became a champion. We loved them both. He will be missed.

Dear Raymond Family. It's been many years, but I have often wondered how Russ was doing, especially after the loss of his Jackie. I first met Russ and Jackie in the early 80s when Al White and I were married. My first ever dog was one of his redbone coonhounds, Boomer. We would spend hours visiting on Main Street in Niantic and driving all over New England for the United Kennel Club dog shows. He was quite the character and both he and Jackie will always hold a special place in my heart. Blessings to you all.

Russ was a neighbor of mine back when he and Jackie lived in Niantic. He gave me my first Dog, a redbone coonhound. They were always so nice to me, as I was only 6 when I met them. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I will always remember Uncle Rusty for his quick wit humor and his colorful choice of words when telling a story. Will miss our days spent on Mom's porch for hours drinking coffee with Booger .
