Ryan Videll Obituary
He was born in Middletown, on Aug. 23, 1981, and was raised in Lyme by his grandparents, Russell H. and Phyllis A. Rand of Lyme. Ryan graduated from Lyme-Old Lyme High School as a member of the Class of 1999.
Ryan and Jessica were married on Aug. 24, 2002, in the Grassy Hill Congregational Church. Ryan had been a resident of Bozrah for the past four years and was formerly of Lyme.
He was a sergeant in the security department at Millstone Nuclear Power Station in Waterford. He was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He recently enjoyed spending time with his grandfather milling. He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 950 in Bozrah.
Ryan will always be remembered as a man who had a great love for his wife, Jessica, son, John, and daughter, Eve. He had recently sponsored a youth Little League baseball team in Bozrah and enjoyed coaching both his children. Ryan was also a member of the Fields Memorial School PTO.
Besides his wife, children, and grandparents, he leaves his brother, Justin A. Videll, his wife, Ashley, and their sons of Taftville.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. Graveside services will be held privately in the Eight Mile River Cemetery in Lyme.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ryan's name may be made to Daddy's Angels Fund, c/o Webster Bank, 7 Halls Road, Old Lyme, CT 06371.

Ryan was a close friend of mine since we met in kindergarten. I find it hard to say goodbye after 26 years of friendship. I sure will miss all the good times. They are simply too numerous to list.
