Timothy MacInnis Obituary
Tim is survived by his brothers, Glenn Joseph MacInnis (Barbara) and Jon Patrick MacInnis (MaryEllen); and his niece Amy Wisniewski.He is also survived by a great-niece; two great-nephews; and a great–great-nephew.
Tim attended New London schools and graduated in 1970. After graduation, he joined the National Guard from 1970 to 1973. He attended Thames Valley Regional College from 1972 to 1974 where he majored in electrical and electronics engineering. From there, Tim had many accomplishments in his field of non-destructive testing.
He worked at Electric Boat from 1980 to 1984 as a senior engineering assistant. From 1984 to 2005, he was project manager at SAIC and from 2005 to 2014, he was a NDT instructor at the Summit Group and Hellier.
In 1997, Tim gave a speech at the White House on aging aircraft and he was awarded the Silver Award for Excellence from Boeing Aircraft. Also in 1997, Tim had a paper published on C-141 Spanwise Splice Advanced NDI Method and in 2002, he issued a patent. "Method and Apparatus for Ultasonic Non-Destructive Inspection."
Tim lived a rich, full life and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Tim was my brother in Christ and a fellow member of Faith Community Church. I also attended Bible study with Tim. Tim will be missed. Im sorry for all of his family and his wife Pat and I know we will see him again in glory!

Tim was a cherished member of Faith Community Church in Moosup. We will miss him greatly but we are celebrating his arrival home with Jesus. We pray for God´s blessing and comfort for Patricia his wife.
