Tony Siragusa Obituary

Mystic - Tony Siragusa, of Mystic, passed away peacefully, with his wife Robin by his side, Oct. 9, 2025, at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London. He was 80 years old. Tony was born May 4, 1945, son to the late Frank and Teresa (LaTulippe) Siragusa.

He was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy in 1963. Immediately after high school, Tony joined the U.S. Air Force. He served during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1967, and continued his service in the military with the Air National Guard, retiring after 18 years.

He married the love of his life, Robin Lapierre in 1968. The couple shared 57 years of marriage. Tony retired in 1997, after a long and successful career with the CT Department of Transportation.

His loss will be felt by many, especially his beloved wife, Robin; siblings, Marie, Frank Jr. and Albert "Peter" (Christine) Siragusa; two nephews; a niece; and many extended family members and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, directly at the New Lebanon Cemetery, 174 Waterman Road, Lebanon. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.

Soooo sorry to hear. I worked with Tony in the CT Air National Guard for about his last 10 years there. He had a great sense of humor! Even when things got tough. We had some great deployments together too. Rest in peace my brother. My thoughts and prayers are with y´all during this time.
