Memories, memories! So many coming back from reading this guest book. I am Christopher's mom, Woody's ex wife. My husband, John said something very true. "Woody was your first love and you will always love him in some way." Yes Woody, you will always have a place in my heart and I'm glad for the memories we shared. God bless you, Chris, Mike and the many friends around the country!

Woody was a friend indeed to those in need of a friend. This world needs more men like him. He was never too tired, too busy, or too preoccupied to be a friend after his retirement. He shared his experience and knowledge with anyone who would listen and many have gained from his advice. He seldom complained to me about anything except how fast the grass grew in his yard during the summer months. He showed he cared about many people with his years of Public Service that extended far beyond his retirement. My sympathies go out to his family and all of his friends and acquaintances. There will never be another Woody and he will never be forgotton by those whose lives were blessed by his kind and caring ways.

Hi Mike,
I looked your phone number up and left a vm and I'm writing also to extend my condolences. I got an email from one of my neices about Woody. I went online and read his obituary. Wow, only 63. I immediately went back to 1968, 1969 ish and thought of all our times around a campfire singing. Wow we sure did have a good time and boy could we sing and could Woody play. Know that you and Woody will be in my thoughts and prayers on Wed because unfortunately I'll be working and can't come to the wake.
I'll pass this on to Mern and Deb.
Love,
Bobbi Fox

Oh, I am so sorry. Woody was one of the finest people I have ever met, and although I haven't seen him in a while, I have thought of him often. A fine poet, great musician, extremely intelligent, and the sharpest sense of humor. I remember riding in his Volkswagon Thing, laughing and singing. He will be sorely missed.

Fare Thee Well Woody, Fare Thee Well! You have touched so many lives, saved a few CSP butts along the way and saved a few civilian and

You were a good "Trainer" of Dispatchers. Thanks
