Agnes Guillermo Obituary

Agnes R. Guillermo was born June 21, 1956 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Precy and Jose Reparejo Sr. She graduated from Ilocos Norte High School in the Philippines. She migrated to Palm Springs, Calif. with her brother, Edison Reparejo in May 1980, at the age of 23. Her interests included family, movies, reading tabloid magazines, and watching her favorite show, American Idol. She devoted much of her time and energy as a homemaker and a mother to her three children, Mildred, Moira, and David. Agnes was an inspiration to family and friends with her brave fight against her disease. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. Agnes fought everything that came at her until her last day. She lost her bout with cancer at Manor Care (Odyssey House) in Palm Desert, Calif. on June 3, 2010. Agnes Guillermo is survived by her husband, Mario Guillermo Sr.; daughters, Mildred Laws and Moira Guillermo; son Mario David Guillermo Jr.; sisters, Ofelia Bannister and Evelyn Martin; brothers, Jose Reparejo Jr., William Reparejo, Roland Reparejo, Edison Reparejo, and Howard Reparejo; grandchildren, Makenna and Melinna Laws. Viewing will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Forest Lawn Memorial, 69855 East Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234. A memorial service will be held there at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 14, 2010 by Pastor Michael Gonzales. Interment will follow in the Desert Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are with Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries.
