My first Pro and good friend. Last saw him when he was working at Western Golf and Country Club.

Chris was an amazing friend. He never hesitated on giving to other peoples needs. I remember him telling me, "I can never say no to anyone". It's been 9 years and there isn't anyone that knows him who does't miss him and his annoying sayings. They were brilliant!
A good man.

chris,

i have so many great memories of you and our three years together at schurr high school. you helped make my game the best it could have ever been. all your tips and help is something i will have with me for a lifetime.

i remember all those nights we would putt together way after the sun went down. and i remember how we would play skins for a quarter a hole and after nine holes you'd have me down $2.25! but not once would you ever take my money.

my grandpa always told me you were the best golfer he had ever played golf with. and i'm sure you two are playing a round of golf together up in heaven.

when we first met, i couldn't break 100. by the end of my junior year, you helped me breaking 80 pretty consistantly.

each and everytime i look at my "foothill league championship" patch, i think of you and it puts a smile on my face.

thanks for many great memories my dear friend.

missing you,
glen miki

Hello to the entire family. I was shocked when I had found out and my respects to his son and wife. I am sure this would be acknowledged by those of us from the old neighborhood if they can be part of this message of respect. I have to mention this because I had to jump the fence behind the second tee box and Chris had his own gate and key to the first green to practice his short game. What really tripped me out is when Chris or Gina would be putting bare footed! That was and is one of the strong memories of how the course and Chris are attached to my stories of him and his family. Stay strong and thanks to Bob, Bobby, Mike, and Gina for allowing me to golf with you during my years around Montebello Golf Course. Peace Chris from Sepulveda!

"My deapest sympathies for the family, Karen and Zach." I met Chris at a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department golf tournament where he was raising money for abused children. He was at a par 5 and would hit your drive for only $5. Well, we hit our drives and felt pretty good about our shots. Chris stepped up and hit a monster drive that passed our balls in the air and landed a good 50 yards past. Needless to say, we were all glad we paid the $5. Since that time Chris had been my golf instructor and managed to get my game squared away. I enjoyed every lesson with him, and was shocked when I went to the Roland Heights Golf Center and was told that he passed away. Zach, everytime I had a lesson from him, he spoke about going to Palm Springs and spending the weekend with you. He was a great man and loved you dearly.
