Bob Goebel
August 28, 2017
My name is Bob Goebel, and I worked with Dave for many years when he lived in Colorado. We shared a great love for performance cars and all things mechanical. We were both draftsmen back in the day when people actually drew with pen on mylar. He had a great ability to interpret the engineer's vision into easily constructed plans. I always enjoyed his stories of cruising on Woodward in Detroit, and he carried a picture of his '63 Max Wedge Fury in his wallet! He loved that car! He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family. Take comfort in knowing that Dave made an impression on me and many of his coworkers at the City of Wheat Ridge in Colorado. I drive through there now and then and still see the projects he worked on going strong. I'll never forget him. God speed Dave...I'll see you at the finish line.
