Desert Hot Springs - Eddie Ernst of Desert Hot Springs was born on July 21, 1959 in the Palm Springs Desert Hospital, has peacefully passed away. Eddie was doing one the many things that he loved to do. He was playing basketball with friends in Whitewater Park, Rancho Mirage Thursday evening May 3rd and had a heart attack.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife; Elisa, daughter; Arianna, mother; June and brothers; Mike and Randy.
Please join us for Eddie's Celebration of Life, Monday, May 14th, 6:30 PM, at JPL Church, 39001 Monterey Ave. Palm Desert.

My brother Tony Vannoy was best friends with Eddie back In 1967,sad to say Tony passed on Aug 29,2023,I'm Tony's older brother Robert, I have a feeling Eddie & Tony are reunited as friends again in heaven..

I miss talking fish stories with Eddie. It made my day to hear the excitement in his voice. He encouraged me and gave me hope that no matter how good or bad the fishing was that day...... there was always tomorrow. Well my friend, I look forward to fishing with you again on the other side of this world. See you there!

I only met Eddie once while fishing at Pyramid Lake in Nevada. He left a lasting impression om me. We talked about many things.... but most importantly our faith in Jesus Christ. Eddie, you will be missed by many. You leave behind a legacy of family, friends,and a passion for life that exemplifies our Lord.We will fish together again.... but not yet, not yet.My sincere condolences to the family.
