Ethel Chilles Obituary

Ethel Chilles, 91, of Palm Desert, passed away July 26, 2013. She was born March 20, 1922 to Thomas and Anthoula Blanas in Milwaukee, Wis. Ethel was preceded in death by her eldest son, Nicholas, in 1997, and husband, John, in 2007. She is survived by her son Thomas of Alexander, Ark.; daughter-in-law Linda, and grandchildren Michelle, Christopher, Amanda, Rebecca and Alexandra. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren. Visitation and Trisagion service will be held Tuesday, July 30 from 3-8PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Cathedral City. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Palm Desert. Interment will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 4755, Palm Desert, CA 92261 May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless her, and may her memory be eternal within our hearts.
