was looking online just saw he had passed. spent time in sea scouts with fergi and we went to MCRD Plt 179 in Nov 1962 together. after boot camp we went different ways, glad to hear he had a good life and a family to love. i have been on the east coast most of the time and all who went to boot camp with us got out, but i spent 25 years. enjoyed all the times we had together. i do believe we met once in Danang, i think he was working on f4's and i worked on avionics for c117's and other aircraft. i will remember him and Alan Smith in my prayers, not sure what happened to Tom Plantz.
