Graciela Alvarez Obituary

Graciela Cendejas Alvarez, 64, passed away on January 18, 2007 at her home in Coachella, CA. She was born June 21, 1942, to Horacio Cendejas and Florentina Ordaz in Ensenada, BC Mexico. She married Ramiro Alvarez Sr. on November 27, 1963 in Purepero, Michoacan, Mexico.

She was employed at Desert Valley Date for over 15 years.

She is survived by her husband Ramiro Alvarez Sr.; daughter Alicia Saylor and son-in-law Robert; son Ramiro Alvarez Jr.; mother Florentinia Ordaz; sisters: Socorro Ordaz, Maria de La Fe Cendejas, Oralia Carmona, Rossana Cendejas, and Cleotilde Ordaz; brothers: Rafael Cendejas, Humberto Cendejas, Humberto Cendejas and Manuel Cendejas; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Horacio Cendejas.

Visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella, CA with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Coachella Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to Alzheimer's Association.
