Gregory Theisen Obituary
Gregory Warren Theisen passed away on February 4, 2016 at the age of 62. He was born in Flint, Mich. on June 17, 1953. He was predeceased by his father Eugene Theisen and his mother Gloria Theisen. He is survived by his beloved wife Pam Theisen, his sister Deborah Theisen Sawyer of Indio, Calif. and his brother Thomas Theisen of Walnut Creek, Calif. Greg and Pam moved to the Coachella Valley in 1996 and, for several years, have had a booth at the College of the Desert Street Fair. He has also served on the board of the College of the Desert Alumni Association. Greg and his faithful companion Blue were a familiar sight at the Palm Desert Civic Center dog park. Greg is also survived by his 3 children, David Theisen of Concord, Calif., Christopher Theisen of Danville, Calif. and Jennica Villani of Indio, Calif. Greg was a loving "Pappo" to his 4 grandchildren, Michael, C.J., Alexandra and Samantha. There will be services held at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that you consider adopting a pet from or making a donation to the Humane Society of the Desert - Desert Pet Oasis.

Greg was our "bestest" friend. We've known him and Pam for over 30+ years. We started to hang out on the softball field where teammates became family. From jamming with guitars and drums on Solano Way to the beautiful island of Maui, Hi., we've shared it all. I can't believe we won't be hanging out together this March where he and Pam welcomed us almost every year for the past 10 years. "Greg Dude", you will be forever in our hearts and when I think of you, it will always be with fun and humor and the best things life can offer. Thanks for being such an important part of my life journey, I love you man.

So sorry to hear of Greg's passing. His humor was one of the things I remember most about him. Many of my favorite high school memories included him. I know he loved his family more than anything. You are all in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time.
