James Franco Obituary
James Franco, 66, of Thermal, Calif., passed away April 8, 2014, in Indio, Calif. He was born May 7, 1947 to Christobal Alvarez Franco and Carmen Duarte in Globe, Ariz. He married Isabel Del Rio. He was the owner of Franco Construction, Inc. for 15 years and owner of Thermal Building Supply for 6 years. He was a member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Franco of Thermal; his daughter, Cristal Antonia Franco, of Phoenix, Ariz.; his sons, James Franco Jr. of La Quinta, Calif., Christopher Thomas Franco, of Thermal; his sisters, Patricia Flores, of Salton City, Calif., Roberta Hinch, of Banning, Calif., Elizabeth Martinez, of Tucson, Ariz., and Maria Franco, of Yucaipa, Calif.; his brothers, Cristobal Franco, Allen Franco, and Jose Montez, of Tucson, Ariz., Gerald Franco, of Goldsboro, N.C. and Ernest Franco, of Hilo, HI.; he is also survived by five grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a rosary at 6:00 pm in the Indio Chapel at Forest Lawn, Indio. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 9:00 am at our Lady of Soledad, in Coachella, Calif. Interment will follow at Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District in Coachella, Calif. Forest Lawn Indio is in charge of arrangements.
