James Warren Obituary

James "Jim" Lisle Warren, 75, of Palm Desert, Calif. Died August 14, 2012 in Palm Desert, Calif., after a long battle with many chronic illnesses. He was born July 12, 1937, to James F. Warren and Aileen Babock Warren in Los Angeles, Calif. He married Mildred "Millie" Neder on Dec. 31, 1982 in Desert Hot Springs. He was a truck driver for Himark Distributors Budweiser and Coca-Cola. He was also a teacher's assistant at C.O.D., pathology technician for the late Dr. McCammon and Dr. Mark Beck. His last job was as a courier for Unilab. He played semi-pro football for the Los Angeles Rinos. He served in the Navy reserve. He is survived by his wife Mildred "Millie" Warren of Palm Desert, Calif.; daughter Andrea Roseland of Morris, Ill.; Sons Matthew C. Warren (Maria) Aledo, Ill., Frank Warren, Bremerton, Wash., James "JR" Warren, Palm Desert, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Joshua Warren and son-in-law Chuck Roseland. Memorial services will be 9:30 AM, August 25, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Palm Desert, Calif. Inurnment will be in The Neptune Memorial Reef with The Trident Society. The family suggests that donations be made to Diabetes, Alzheimer's or Kidney Foundations.
