Janet Hellman Obituary
Las Cruces - Janet Louise Hellman 76, of Indio California went to be with the Lord on July 6, 2019 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Janet was born March 19,1942 in Indio, California to George and Iris Leach. Married Howard Hellman in January 6, 1967. She was a registered nurse for over 40 years. She was very active in the church, volunteered for the elementary schools, mission, and lots of individuals. Janet was loved and will be missed by her husband Howard Hellman, son Mark Hellman, Daughter Krista Simpson, son-in-law Alan Simpson, daughter-in-law Julie Hellman, and 6 grandchildren (Hannah, Sarah, Stephen, Abigail, Gabriella, Amelia). A memorial service will be on Saturday September 7th at Rancho Casitas 46618 Madison St Indio CA Family suggests that donations be given to World Vision, Wycliff, St. Jude, Paralyzed Vets, American Heart Association, Paws for Purple Hearts, or Focus on the Family.

My sincere condolences to the Hellman family. I had the pleasure of working with Janet many years ago at Dr Gaszas. (I was the one in the back room-billing dept.) She was just the kindest, sweetest and giving person you'll ever meet. Whenever Howard and her kids would come by to pick her up, her face would just light up. You could tell she was so proud of her family. Every Christmas, Janet & Krista would bake cookies and give each one of us a plateful for our family...and not just a variety of 5 or 6 cookies but there must of been over 15 variety of cookies. Mark & Krista, you were such nice, respectful kids and I'm so happy you blessed your parents with so many grand children...What a blessing!! Thank you Janet for all the wonderful memories.
