I remember Jerry and johnny from the Yamaha days on Ramon in the early 60s. He lived a long, long life and it saddens me to see the passing of our parents' generation. All the best!

I first met Jerry and Johnny when I was a 12 year old, ardently desiring my first Yamaha Enduro. My father had known them both for years. I well remember Steve McQueen riding up to their shop on Ramon, as I and a friend desperately sought to trail that man, long before Cat City was incorporated. Jerry was the ultimate sweetheart of a man, and he knew and loved kids as well as his family - not to mention 2 cylinder motorcycles. His passing is much more an historical loss to this community than some of us can remember. Cheers to his family; he was good man.
