Jesse McGuire Obituary

Jesse Lee McGuire, 87, of Palm Springs, Calif., passed away May 11, 2009 in Palm Springs, Calif., of natural causes. He was born March 28, 1922 in Dardanelle, Ark. He married Florence Howard on August 21, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a CEO/owner of numerous underground pipeline construction companies. He was a member of Catholic Church, US Armed forces veteran. He served in the US Army from during WWII. He is survived by his daughters, Ramona Hofman of La Quinta, Calif., Michelle McGuire of Los Angeles, Calif., and Tammy Tidmore of Delmar, Calif.; sons, Elgin Howard of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Mike McGuire of Seaside, Ore; grandchildren, Keli Kerr of Palm Desert, Calif., Jennifer Gabriel of Tustin, Calif., Justine Howard of Corona Del Mar, CA, and Stan Lee McGuire of Seaside, Ore; and great-grandchild, Dakota Kerr of Palm Desert, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence McGuire and grandson, Chase Howard. A graveside service will be held at 8:30 AM., May 20, 2009 at Coachella Valley Cemetery with interment to follow. The family suggests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palm Desert, CA. Forest Lawn Cathedral City is in charge of arrangements.
