Dear John
It is with sadness I send you this note, a mother is a precious person that means so very much to our lives. My mother passed away 37 years ago and she is still a very important part of my daily life. Her guidance and encouragements fill me with pleasure although she is missed greatly. I missed her instantly and still do but knowing she is in a better place I am delighted with her new surroundings, Mom will always remain a major part of my life and I am sure you will share the same blessings. Your friend

Dear John,

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. It sounds as if she had a good life as exemplified by the length of her marriage and the fact that she raised three wonderful children. My thoughts go out to you and your family at this time. May you and your family find peace knowing she is now resting with your father.
