We met at Von's Market in Palm Desert; I was a pharmacist there and she worked mostly in the deli area. She brought me something to eat from the deli because I was unable to leave the area for any lunch time. No one had ever done that for me. She was a beautiful lady . I missed her when she moved to Northern California.
We even met in San Francisco one day and one day went to the top of the tram in Palm Springs.

I would just like to thank everyone for keeping the family in their thoughts. Even though it has been over a month sense we have said goodbye to a wonderful woman. I am one of Joan's granddaughters. She was an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother. Again thank you all for keeping her and my family in your thoughts.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with at Eisenhower Medical center. She will be missed by all who knew her

My deepest sympathy to your family. Your mom was such a sweet person. It was great to have you as neighbors on Del Rey in Indio.

Sorry to read about Joan's passing; I worked with her at Von's in Palm Desert about 1991 to 1994. She was so sweet and we had coffee together and took walks before work. A very pretty woman who loved her children. I never knew that she had moved to Oregon. God will bless her.
