Joe Willetts Obituary

Joe Willetts, 57, passed away suddenly at his home in Parowan, UT, on Saturday, June 2, 2007. He was born to Jack and Gwen Willets in Las Vagas, NV, December 9, 1949. Joe has a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was always happy to lend a hand to a friend in need. Joe loved nature and the great outdoors; exploring, camping, fishing, etc… He enjoyed jazz music and blues. He was devoted to his family who loved him deeply, and Joe will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwen McDonald Willetts; father Jack Willetts; brother, Richard Willetts; nephews, Michael & Jerry Willetts. Joe is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Carrie (Rick) Stevenson of Palm Desert, CA and Kate (Russell) Bates of Carlsbad CA; son Kurt of MT; brother Doug (Erin) Willetts of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughters, Sky and Natalie; grandson Alec of CA; nieces, Peggy (John) McLaughlin and Laurel (Tim) Ramberg; grandniece Kylie of Las Vegas, NV; and grandnephews, Jeret & Jessen of Reno, NV. No services are scheduled. Joe's ashes will be scattered throughout his beloved Utah Mountains. Arrangements entrusted to Swindlehurst Funeral Home.
