John Chilles Obituary

John N. Chilles, 85, of Palm Desert, CA, passed away on October 11, 2007. He was born on July 16, 1922 to Nicholas J. & Rebecca T. Chilles in Milwaukee, WI. John was a restaurantuer and chef for decades. He was also a Master Mason for forty years and a Shriner. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel; son Thomas; daughter-in-law Linda; grandson Christopher and grand daughters, Amanda, Rebecca, Alexandra and Michelle. John was also blessed with four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Detective Nicholas J. Chilles. Visitation and Trisagion service was held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at FitzHenry Funeral Home, Palm Desert, CA. Funeral Services will be held on today, October 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Palm Desert, CA. Interment will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 4755, Palm Desert, CA 92261.
