I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the kind words and expressions of sympathy that have been placed here. What a testament to the Man that people who knew him for only a short time or for many years would take time to express their feelings. My Dad was a Marine, EDD representative, Master story-teller, and most importantly a Family man. Although we feel it was too short, He lived a great life and will be missed by many. As one of his son's I'm honored to have known him and will forever carry his memory in my heart.

I am heartbroken and saddened to hear of your fathers passing. It came as a shock to me. I will always keep His family in my prayers. He will be Missed and He will always be remembered. He was a kind, generous and giving Man. I only wish that I had one more visit with him. Cheers, John, to life well lived....
May your family find comfort in knowing that you have given a piece of your self to everyone you have met, and that you still live on..

It was an honor when I met Juan about ten days ago in Loma Linda. He was a true patriot. His family is a testament to what a fine man he was.

Juan Montez
A Marine, a veteran, EDD Veterans representative and a great family man. Juan known to many as Gunny, a name he picked up while in the military. Juan was a real community leader who served as an example to all of us. His work with the Palm Springs Employment Development Department will long be rememered.
My condolenses to his family. God bless you..
