Dear Joan,
I just received your message yesterday, Jeff and I now live in MX for part of the year. Just like you and Larry we were born with the wanderlust and maybe that is why we connected so well. Two things I know is that Larry lived every moment of his life to the max and that he cherished you. I will call you.

Joan,
Although we've never met, Larry and I were the best of friends back in the Mt. Vernon days. In fact, we lived in the same apt. building.
All the memories I have of Larry are very dear. I well remember, how we took his dad's car (unknown to his dad) and went to Canada. Wow, was Carl ticked! I had the good fortune to visit Larry in Woodland Hills and the 2 weeks we were together will never be forgotten. Of course, I remember Cynthia and how she was "such a kid sister".
My heart goes out to you and your family ... with deepest sympathy ~ Jerry Frank

Larry and I were best friends in High School (A.B. Davis), and through most of the ‘50s – We were the original Schportmen. We drifted apart in the ‘60s, although I did get to visit him in LA and met Steven, who was then just a toddler. In 1980, when the Davis High School Reunion Committee could not locate Larry, I took up the cause of trying to find him. Looking through out of state phone books often, and later, The Internet, I Googled and people searched his name every year, with no results. Until last week, when I came up with this obituary. It saddened me enormously. My condolences to his family, with special regards to Cynthia, whom I remember fondly.
