Dear Shirley: We visit Palm Desert so rarely and even fewer times reading the Desert Sun. You can understand my surprise and sadness upon reading of Lenny's passing. I shall never forget the support and valued counsel he gave me as president of the Synagogue and how much I treasured his warmth, friendship and wisdom. There is very little anyone can say or do when things like this occur but Sheila and I wanted you to know that our warmest thoughts and deepest condolences are extended to you and your family at this most difficult time. Warmly, Barry Rubin.
