Maria Barone Obituary

Maria "Marina" Diana Barone, 90, passed away on September 28, 2008 in her Rancho Mirage home. She is survived by her sons, Tony and Ermanno Barone and her daughter, Milvia Virgili; 4 grandchildren, Tony Barone Jr., Robert Barone, Victor Virgili, Giorgia Virgili and a great grandchild, Isabella Alexix Barone. As a housewife, she dedicated her entire life to taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, renowned artist / sculptor George Barone. She will always be remembered as the most beautiful and caring mother with an unbelievable talent to prepare the finest Italian cooking. We will never forget you, Mom. Prayer Mass will be at Saint Louis Catholic Church in Cathedral City at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 2, 2008. Burial to follow at Desert Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the directions of Forest Lawn Mortuary.
