Aunt Lola was blessed with the heart of an angel. I learned of her death a week late and wish I could have been with her family, especially my father, her brother, who loved her dearly and cared so much for her throughout her life. I know she is finally in heaven with her mother and brothers.

When I think of Grandma Lola I always hear her saying "Aye he looks dangerous"... I can literally hear her saying it now. She would follow the statement with a soft smile and slight chuckle. Stooky makes a good point when he talks about her deep and heartfelt laughter - my son, her great grandson shares that same characteristic. I met Grandma Lola 14 years ago and Iam blessed to of had the time that I did with her. I love you Grandma - you "little rascal" .....

It always made me feel GOOD when I could make Grandma Lola laugh. She had a hearty laugh. A real deep down hearty laugh. She made me feel like a real tuff guy when she said that I looked "DANGEROUS". I would think to myself "wow, I guess I do look kinda' dangerous". I think she was only poking fun at me cause' I really probably looked like a dork. She taught me love. She loved me and I could feel it. She was a wonderful Grandmother to me. Thank you Grandma Lola.
