Dear Marvin,
To this day, the impact that you and Marilyn had on my own life has been everlasting. Marilyn was the true and loving matriarch in every sense of the word. Your work ethic, strong sense of family bond, and natural leadership qualities are the real and important legacies that only a select few can attest to. Thank you to both you and Marilyn for being an important influence on my life as I'm sure you have been with many others.

My dear friend Marvin,
Although I never met your wife, knowing you I can only imagine what she was like. To have endured you for all these years, she must have been a saint. If she was anything like you, and it sounds like she was, Marilyn will be missed, and remain in many hearts for years and generations to come.
You are a dear friend, have always been there for me any mine too. If there is anything I can do, or be doing, for you, please let me know.
My family will make a donation to the cancer society in Marilyn's name.

When my mom sent me the link to this site, I wanted to add the photo you see to the right. I remember Marylyn for so many wonderful things. One that sticks out in my mind is her talent and creativity at needlepoint. She was amazing. Wouldn't you know I walked by a window full of wonderful pillows on Saturday with great designs and needlepoint work. They were not as fine as hers, but she would appreciate them as we all appreciated her wonderful spirit.

Deb and I offer our condolences to you and your family. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but knowing that she is at rest with G_d will hopefully ease your pain and sorrow. We are all only here for a short time (on "loan" from G_d) and he must have another important assignment for her. Our thought and prayers are with you.

Marvin, Beth and Larry, I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your loss. She was a great and wonderful lady with a extremely warm heart. She always welcomed all of us kids into your home when we were teenagers. We were even able to use the pool even if Beth wasn't at home. She always had a smile on her face. I am ever so glad that I knew her for many years when I was younger. But the memories will go on forever in your heart and mind.
I am so sorry again.
Love,
Rod

While many years have passed since I've been in Marilyn's company my memories of her remain. She was a lady who assumed responsibility and carried through any given her. She was a very well educated woman but could talk with others who were't on the level they'd understand. She nearly always had a smile on her face and loved a good tennis game. She was loved by many and respected by all. Marilyn will be missed.
