I had the pleasure of working with Milt while hired as a temporary Pharmacy Tech at the Indian Clinic and he chose to hire me on permanently. He was always a positive person always building you up to feel productive. He was there to help and or answer any questions. Smiling through it all. He made me laugh with his humor and although he defied the odds previously in his life and lived thru cancer he kept going moving forward and I admired that about him. He was a real inspiration. It wasn't until today that I read that he passed in 2019. I have not been working there since 2007. I know he'll be missed by many. RIP Milt

To all of the family,
Above all else, Milt was the King of kindness. Without a doubt, he was kind to the core. His expressions and character exemplified his commitment to his family, his friends and for his concern and attention to others was just who he was as a person. Milt was and remains one who stands tall in our hearts and is an important part of our lives. We will forever treasure the wonderful times over the many years that we spent together.
Our love, Jim and Dana Melton

I had the pleasure of working with Milton for several years at the Riverside San Bernardino Indian Health center in Morongo. His positive attitude and genuine dedication to his job inspired others. He had an infectious smile and a good word for everyone. He was a man of honor and lived by the golden rule. He will be missed by many.

There are certain people who come into your life and leave an impression of a lifetime. That was Milt. I called him "Yoda" as he was the Mentor to us all. When I joined Rotary 15 years ago Milt was one of the first people to welcome me and get me involved. He guided us all and was an example of Service Above Self. He and Sandra became family to my husband and I and we shared many memories. I am thankful for having him in my life. I will do my best to live up to his example. He is not gone he is in my heart.

Milt and I went to Pharmacy School then into the army together, then bunked together until he and then I married our respective wives.

If there was ever a decent guy to be a buddy in so many ways - not to mention a wonderful friend and husband to the wonderful Sandra it was Milt.

Good people do finish first - and he was one of the best. He will be missed by so many.

Hello Mel, I am sorry to hear about your dad, the times I would see him and briefly speak with him, he came across as a warm, friendly and easy to talk to. I knew him due to his ownership of the condo at Sunrise Lanai and my family business took care of the accounting for the condo. I hope this finds you doing well, despite the circumstances. I know your close family and faith will see you through this difficult time. Take Care
