Neal Doty Obituary
Neal Doty died in his home in Palm Desert on Saturday, October 1, 2016 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Julie and is survived by his daughter, Irene and grandson Mario. Neal was born in 1941 in Glendale, CA. He met Julie in 1968 and they were married a few weeks later. They were married for 46 years until she passed away in 2014. He showed his love for his family through his faithfulness and provision. Neal earned his BA in Fine Art at CSU Northridge (1973) and has achieved worldwide acclaim as well as highly regarded commissions and awards for his artistic talents.

I was saddened to hear of Neal's passing. I attended school with him at Cheviot Hills Military Academy and re-acquainted with him many years later. Several of his paintings still hang on my walls today. He was a kind soul.

I can't believe it - and I just found out today!!
With deepest sympathy -Wishing you peace and comfort - He will be missed - he was a great friend and we shared the love of art and music- we collaborated on some of his pieces as you might remember and We found love for music and art and you might remember that I am a musician/composer who plays keyboards and synthesizers, I released my album in 2000 Future Universe
I remember all the great fun we had Julie and the laughter - sure hope we can connect - would love to see you - much Love GAEA and son SEAN
