Growing up there was always a big group of cousins and family surrounding all of us kids. I always loved going to Aunt Lorelle and Uncle Pete's house because it was always so much fun! He had the coolest room the best video games! I remember in your backyard you would always make clubhouses and tree forts! I remember when I lived close by he came over and built me a clubhouse out of an old fence! Everyone in the neighborhood wanted in and he built it to make me feel special. Then one day we all grew up and we both ended up staying at my moms house where we became roommates for a short time to get us on our feet. We hung out like brothers and had the best times and so many laughs. No matter what happens our family is what makes us the happiest. You made me happy and put a smile on my face! I'm so very sad your not here with us today. We will always love you and remember the best and most memorable times. Thank you Aunt Lorelle and Uncle Pete for bringing in such a wonderful person into our lives.

Neil Anderson was my best friend's big brother growing up, He was the big brother I never had and everytime I was around him he always had something fun planned for us from treasure hunts to hide and go seek. He never made us feel like we were burdening him he always had a smile on his face and I'll always remember him chasing us through the yard and giving us kisses when he caught us. They are some of the best memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks for the adventures Neil. Rest in paradise. Love, Nicole Mullin

Neil, Its quite possible you are the smartest person I had ever met and probably the goofiest to. No matter the mood in the room you could always light it up with your smile or your theories on life or your taste in music. It's crazy that it has already been 2 years it doesn't seem that long ago. I miss you Neil you will always be remembered and missed.

I love my brother more than words could Express. His smile and laughter could brighten everybody's day. He could find comedy in just about everything, from his ridiculous conspiracy theories to just about everything in every day life. It has been two years now I miss and think about him every day. There will always be a spot for him in my heart and he will be remembered forever.

My condolences to the Anderson family and loved ones.
Neil was an amazingly brilliant young man. The big Senior when I was a mere Freshman, the first of us cousins to go to the same school.
It hurts to know that I will never get to have another conversation with him.
I will always remember hanging out in his cool room playing on the Sega Genesis, checking out those big forts in the backyard, and his down to Earth personality.
Rest in peace big cousin.

My thoughts go out to the Anderson family and those who knew and loved Neil. I knew him as my Cousin. I think back on our times together building forts in the large trees behind his back yard or exploring the vast surrounding desert areas. There was also a house across the street from Neil that had horses and chickens, and Neil would often take me and my Sister over to see the animals. I also remember taking Neil with me on a family trip to Magic Mountain (circa 1992). We had so much fun riding all the rollercoasters and eating theme park junk food, although Neil was always a much healthier eater than me. Neil also introduced me to He-Man and The Masters of the Universe cartoons. I used to tell Neil that he looked like He-Man because of his blonde hair, but just needed to work on the muscles part.
While Neil and I lost touch into our adult years, I can still remember the sound of his voice. It's amazing the things we remember about a person when we no longer have the luxury of picking up a phone and calling them or visiting them. I will always remember Neil as this fresh-faced kid who was always happy. Even as kids, I don't ever remember Neil becoming angry or crying (something I did at least once a day as a kid). Wherever Neil is right now, I hope he's at peace and has that amazing smile on his face. I love and miss you Neil...

Deepest condolences and sympathies to the Anderson family in this time of sorrow.
Neil was always the one to go against the grain and never showed fear. Always the Indian when we played cowboys, climbed the highest trees and walked bare foot across scorching desert heat asphalt.
Never a conventional thinker. I admired his sense of adventure, courage and love for all.
I will never forget our Nintendo play time, building forts or discovering the desert riding our bikes in 120 degrees with no cares in the world...
Rest in peace my cousin, you are missed and never forgotten.

I keep having this memory run through my head because of the new year. I was probably 9 or 10 maybe younger, and sleeping over, everyone else was asleep and we were up building a fort to sleep in, in the back bedroom (supposed to be sleeping). We heard loud booms outside and, forgetting what day it was, our imaginations ran WILD with what could have been going on outside....until you laughed and remembered it was New Years Eve.
