Omar Rodriguez Obituary
Omar Garza Rodriguez, at the age of 51, went home to be with his Lord on February 18, 2013. He was born to Marcelino and Cruz Garza on August 29, 1961 in Poblado Anahuac, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He owned Shadow Palms Gardening for over 30 years. Omar is survived by his wife of 33 years, Estela Garza; his daughter, Lorena Lua and son-in-law, Oscar Lua; and his sons, Omar Celestino Garza, and daughter-in-law, Priscilla Morales and Octavio Garza. He is also survived by grandchildren, Maximus Garza, Bella and Addysen Lua; sisters, Magda Recio, Lucy Hernandez; older brothers, Isaias Garza and Gerardo Garza, twin brother, Homero Garza and youngest brother, Ismael Garza. He is preceded in death by parents, Marcelino and Cruz Garza and sister, Gloria Infante. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2013, 5pm to 9pm at Centro Libre Cristiano in Coachella, Calif. and a funeral service is scheduled on Friday, February 22, 2013, 10:30 am at Centro Libre Cristiano with interment to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery, Coachella. My deepest sympathies on the passing of Omar. I have such fond memories of him from the time he was helping my late husband at Thunderbird Terrace with work there. Always such a help and a friend - nothing was too much trouble. He will be remembered fondly.
