Ralph Thorson Obituary

Ralph Thorson

Ralph Thorson, born Oct. 29, 1927, in Minneapolis, began his life with Christ on July 2, 2014, at his home in Oakmont of Escondido Hills in Escondido, California. Ralph is survived by daughter Nancy Trout and her husband Terry Trout of Escondido; daughter Cyndy Pentz and her husband Steven Pentz of Las Vegas; as well as twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A longtime resident of Bermuda Dunes Country Club and past president of The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, Ralph loved golf and put it second only to his family, which he loved most. Ralph never met a person he didn't like and knew how to get a laugh in any situation. His outgoing personality was instrumental to his success as a savvy business owner of the Thorson car dealerships in Pasadena and Pomona. Ralph was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beverly Thorson; three of their children, Chris Thorson, Terri Lee Eagan and Carter Thorson; and his second wife, Lynda Rank-Thorson.
