Richard Abrams Obituary
Born to Edward Abrams and Naideen Sheffer Abrams in Chicago, Illinois on October 11, 1954. After a short illness, he passed away at Eisenhower Medical Center on Dec. 10, 2015. He leaves behind a son, Alan Mori Abrams of Los Angeles, CA; a sister, Pamela Marie Abrams; step-sisters Laurie Nagle and Janis Laverty; step-brother, Robert Nagle; and his mother, Naideen Nagle of Palm Springs, CA. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Abrams and step-brother Joseph Nagle. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Richard was educated at Francis Parker Private School in Chicago. After graduation, he attended and graduated from the University of Illinois.
He was employed for many years at Walter Heller Financial Services; later at the Pritzker Group; and then his own consulting firm, Eagle One Financial.
He devoted much of his time to volunteer efforts on Animal Right Causes. Those who were blessed to know him will always hold dear his wit, charm, compassion and ability to lift everyone's spirits around him.
In place of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Palm Springs Animal Shelter, 4575 E Mesquite Ave, Palm Springs, CA 92264. Please join family and friends at noon Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Forest Lawn Chapel, Ramon and DuVall in Palm Springs.

Abrams Family, service Fri. with Rabi Sally Olins was very nice, song by Sunbeam made people choke up. Alan was a little trooper through the service, Rick would have been proud of him, Beautiful day outside looking at Mountains, just a perfect day to say goodbye Rick!
