Robert Cheley Obituary

Robert Evan Cheley Born September 3, 1928 Died June 2, 2008. Robert (the Mole, Moe) Evan Cheley, a long time Denver native, passed quietly in his home in Palm Desert, California on June 2, 2008. He was the son of Dr. Glen Evan Cheley and Ruth Higgins Cheley who preceded him in death. Robert Cheley proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was an entrepreneur, and also a teacher of children with special needs. He retired from the Research and Development department of Rocky Mountain Orthodontics in Denver, CO. He is survived by his three children, Michael R. (Nona) Cheley, Master Sergeant (retired) Carol D. Cheley, and Glen A. Cheley. He is also survived by friend and former spouse, Patricia A. Batson Cheley and three grandchildren, Robert Ryan (Emily) Cheley, Douglas Evan (Michelle) Cheley, and Ashleigh Morgan Cheley Henderson, and four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Hagen, Abigail, and Caitlin. Also surviving him are two sisters, Barbara Anne (Martin) Brusse and Jean (Harold) Reigan, both of Denver, CO. A third sister, Patty Lou Cheley Pate preceded him in death. Private services were held in California.
