Robert Sanchez Fajardo

1962 - 2010

Robert Sanchez Fajardo, 48, died November 6, 2010 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Mr. Fajardo was born January 9, 1962 in Indio, Calif. He was the third youngest of fourteen children. Mr. Fajardo is survived by his wife, Glenda; his mother, Esther Fajardo; eight brothers and four sisters. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his father Salvador, he was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Gabriel. Bobby loved listening to various genres of music, laughing, karaoke, being with his family, having fun with friends and taking photographs. Bobby touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Bobby was beloved by all, and will be missed by the community and his beloved dog, Polly. Most knew Bobby because of his adventurist spirit and inspiring passion for photography. He would go out of his way to capture the most cherishing moments of others without reservation. He helped many people through trials and tribulations. It was important to Bobby to give it all he could while he had the chance. He had a unique way of bringing the best out of others because he gave the best of himself. To the world Bobby may have been only one person, to many of his friends and family he was the world. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Indio, Calif. with a funeral mass at the hour of 12:30 p.m. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the YMCA in Palm Desert at 3:00 p.m. FitzHenry-Wiefels Directors.
