Dear Goodwin Family,
I was saddened to hear of Roy's passing and want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I truly value the opportunities that I had to work with one of the nicest, friendliest, most thoughtful people there are. Roy's positive mental attitude and determination throughout his battle will be an inspiration to all those that were fortunate enough to know him for years to come.

Dear Goodwin Family, There are people in life that give off a positive attitude in life and Roy was one of these special persons. We were fortunate enough to have Roy coach my daughter Addison and she has very fond memories of him as well. He wore his pink shirt proud!! Real men wear pink and Roy was a real man!!

Roy has given us all a gift during his battle with cancer and as of his passing. His Spirit’s inner strength came out during this battle and shined bright. During our phone conversations before and after his major operation he never complained. His attitude fighting this disease was so positive that he inspired and moved me deeply in my Soul.
Roy’s body did not survive this battle but his Spirit will live on in all of us who knew him. Roy’s Spirit is now a guiding light for all us who have learned from him during his struggle.
Roy’s Spirit will never die.
