Samuel Flores Obituary
Samuel Naranjo Flores Born in September on the 3rd of 1930 in Ault, Colorado.
In the wee hours of August 01, 2020, Sam's soul was released from his earthly body. He was preceded in this part of life and departure of souls by his beautiful daughter Sandi (1995) and his precious wife Connie (2020).
Sam had 5 Children: Sammy (Jamie), Sandi (1995), Sharla, Steve (Irma) and Sandra.
His grandchildren: Jeremy (Evie) , Joshy, Tiffany, Chrissy, Fabi (Monique), Lauren, Ashley, Matthew, Melissa, Sandra Jean, Stephen, Mike, Christien, Cody, and Braden.
Big Sam's great grandchildren: Jaid, Nalissa, Lil Jer, Maddox, Korrah James, Emily, Selena, Riley, Isabelle, Noah, Victoria, Dean, Adalyn, Zachary, Levi, Jude, Stella and Bailey.
Pops was also truly blessed to have 1 great great grandchild: Oliver.
Dad in his younger years loved "riding the rails" with his brother Al. They'd ride box cars to the towns they knew had picture shows.
His love of the smell and taste of fertile soil. He loved working with his hands, planting different bushes, plants of all kinds and especially flowers!
Sam was very involved with the church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help for more than 20 years and was the head usher.
The activities he truly loved the most were any and all with his wife Connie.
All of his family and loved ones are deeply saddened and we will miss him dearly.
But we also rejoice in the thought that the moment his soul was released from his earthly vessel, he was at last for him joined once again with the love of his life Connie.
They will now be in an eternal embrace in the book of Forever.
Viewing will take place on August 21, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palm Desert 43775 Deep Canyon Road From 9:00 am - 10:00 am with Mass to follow at 10:00 am- 11:00 am.

Our condolences to the family of Sam, he was a great support to my husband and I during the morning masses at OLPH. We were the Sacristan during the 8:15 mass for four years and he was a great asset to our team serving this mass time. He will be greatly miss. RIP Sam thank you for your friendship and service.
