I knew Stuart before he chose to go in to Radiology. I worked for an orthopedic group he spent tome with. One of the most genuine people I had the honor of saying I knew. Many sweet memories of how he made me feel I was worth knowing also

Drove down from Nevada to see Dr. May today for an appt. We first started seeing him in 2001 at the Palm Desert office. We were extremely saddened to hear the sudden loss of this fine Dr. He helped so many by just his innovated medical delivery, we can hardly imagine the emptiness the family must feel. Our condolences are extended. Harry and Daphne

It is with shock and the deepest sadness that Liz and I learned of Stuart's passing today. He and I joined the medical staff at Eisenhower Medical Center at nearly the same time in 1998. I have never worked with a kinder, skilled and dedicated physician in my career. He took care of many of our cancer patients with passion and extraordinary talent. Each patient raved of his sincere caring and genuine humanness during their IR procedure. He will be deeply missed - - and at the same time highly admired - - by the medical community of the desert valley.
Liz and I remember Cheryl having her first two babies while we were having ours. He spoke with me so often of his love for his family and his profession. Humility, a trait often hard to find, was so much apart of Dr May.
We extend our love and condolence to Cheryl and his children. In this time of terrible grief, remember what a passionate and loving husband/father he was to all of you. And you will have that forever.
I will miss knowing you Stuart. You were truly a consummate physician in every way. See you on the other side.

Stuart is greatly missed! He was always so positive friendly and helpful. I always appreciated his expertise in radiology when I had a question about a test or patient situation. His enthusiasm for the outdoors and healthy living was so evident in his smile and energy. It was clear that he loved his family and was such a great father and supporter for all the kids at Sacred Heart and Xavier. We also enjoyed discussing sports and politics with you. Many prayers for your beautiful family.

Stuart was an amazing and thoughtful physician, but most importantly a great friend. Always willing to share his extensive medical knowledge or just a smile. Stuart we all miss your happy voice, which still rings in my head... almost daily you would come to my office always greeting me with that bright " Hey Rick". Rest in Peace my Friend.

I am deeply sorrowed to hear of the passing of Dr. May. I had the privilege of serving alongside him in his work and have been witness to his commitment to excellence and patient care. I also had great respect for the love he had of his family. He will be greatly missed.
I am in prayer for his family and loved ones. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4). Our Lord heals the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3).

I'm so grateful to have spend time with Stuart, Cheryl, Janice and Rose on Mother's Day last year and many other occasions too. It was a treat to be in his company, such a gentle kind soul with a welcoming smile. A man to be admired and greatly missed.
