Veronica Sarmiento Obituary

Veronica Soto Sarmiento, 23, died February 7, 2011 in Coachella, Calif. She was born on February 18, 1987 to parents, Francisco Javier Sarmiento and Maria Soto in Indio. She leaves behind her parents and her brothers, Francisco Sarmiento of Coachella and Alejandro Soto of Yuma, Ariz. Her three year old son Christopher Louis Carriere, born January 15, 2008, also died on February 7, 2011 in Indio. He leaves behind his loving father, John Ward Carriere of Coachella; sisters, Sherrie Amor Carriere of Las Vegas, Nev. and Dominique Carriere; and brother John Carriere Jr. of Los Angeles. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday February 17, 2011 with visitation from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Casillas Family Funeral Home in Coachella. A graveside service will be celebrated on Friday February 18, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Coachella Valley Cemetery. All funeral services will be under the direction of Casillas Family Funeral Home located at 85891 Grapefruit Blvd., Coachella, CA.
