William Morgan Obituary
1925-2015
William Morgan passed away on August 22nd, 2015 in Palm Desert, California. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 12, 1925 to Scottish immigrants, Eliza and James Morgan. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Blanche Edith Morgan, and his granddaughter, Kristen McConaghy. William is survived by his daughters, Arlene Leonard, Heather Bjorklund and husband Bert, Lynn Krieg and husband James. He is also survived by grandchildren, Morgan Griggs and wife Kristen, Brittney DeWall and husband Josh, Barrett Bjorklund and great grandchild, Lily DeWall. William was a man of many talents: RCAF Pilot, Cost and Estimating Engineer, Mason, Accomplished Golfer, Storyteller and Piano Player. His luminescent intelligence, wit and humor was admired by all! He continued to have an interest in world affairs and a zest for daily living as he set new goals and objectives. He has been the patriarch of our family and has been an example of how to live our lives with integrity, honesty, love and respect. William was truly a remarkable man and his legacy will live on in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our handsome father will be dearly missed but his spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends. William's ashes will be released at sea at a date to be determined. We love you dad, Arlene, Heather, and Lynn.

As the golf pro at Bill's club, I had the pleasure of playing golf with Bill and The Tuesday Gang a dozen times or so. I was always amazed how straight he could hit the golf ball, and how good he was. I forget how many times he shot his age, but it was many. He was a very funny man and I always looked forward to sharing a golf cart with him. What a nice Man. Bunny and Bill were always a treat to be around. Prayers to the Family.
