Brigadier General(retired) John M Gosdin

Dear Ann and Jones family, I was deeply saddened by the loss of Al. He was a dear friend and mentor to me in the 420th . He was more like a brother to me , and I considered him my brother. It was a short while ago that I saw him last at the 420th reunion. He was always thinking of others. We shared stories of 420th days and always had interesting stories to share. He will always have a special place in my heart and thoughts. My brother Gary, his wife D'awn, and the rest of the Gosdin family and McWhorter family also send their deepest condolences

Dearest Ann and Jones Family, our deepest condolences to you on the loss of Dear Al. He was just an Angel on Earth! He gave our dad, Bill Lofgren, the best job of his life, working for him. My sisters, Kathy and Martha, and I will miss seeing Al around town. He was a giant among men! May he rest in peace.
