Beverly Jane Farnum

Beverly Farnum, 96, entered her heavenly home with Jesus on October 2, 2025. She was born in Quasqueton, Iowa on April 16, 1929 to Marion Alvin Dauenbaugh Sr. and Wilma Lorraine Boies. Beverly accepted Jesus Christ as her savior when she was in high school. She loved her Lord and trusted Him throughout her life. One of her favorite scriptures was Romans 8:28-39. She graduated from Lamont Consolidated School and received her teaching degree from Upper Iowa University. She married Rue Jene Farnum in 1948 and they were blessed with two daughters, Kristie and Cindy. They enjoyed 54 years together spending most of their lives in Fairbank, Iowa. Beverly taught elementary school for 34 years retiring in 1988. She was an active volunteer in many organizations including 50 years of service in Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star and the Fairbank Federated Women's Club. She and Rue were long time members of Fairbank United Methodist Church. After her husband's death in 2002, she moved to College Station, Texas in 2005 to be close to family. She continued volunteering with the George Bush Presidential Library, area hospitals and was a member of Grace Bible Church. She loved her 4 grandchildren and her 11 great grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Rue Jene Farnum, her father, Marion Dauenbaugh Sr., her stepmother, Eunice Dauenbaugh, her mother, Wilma Clark, her brother, Marion (Sam) Dauenbaugh and her niece, Sheryl Dauenbaugh. She is survived by daughter, Kristie Krowech and husband Bob of Eden Prairie, MN, daughter Cindy Stimson and husband Johnny of College Station, TX, three nephews, Mike Dauenbaugh, Jamie Farnum and Chuck Farnum, Grandchildren - Danny Stimson (Andrea), Chris Stimson (Rachael), Katie Johnson (Adam), Stephanie Mason (Ryan), Great Grandchildren - Stella Stimson, Kennedy Mason, Lila Stimson, Peyton Mason, Hadley Mason, Roger Stimson, Kinsley Johnson, Ruby Stimson, Ellie Johnson, Annie Johnson, Daisy Stimson.
There will be a celebration of life for Beverly on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00 pm at Grace Bible Church (Anderson Campus) 701 Anderson Street, College Station, TX 77840. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Beverly's memory to Grace Bible Church or to
