She is the loving wife of husband, Mark and adoring mother of Declan, both of Cedar Park, Texas; beloved daughter of Max and Barbara Kapchinski of Navasota, Texas; cherished sister and sister-in-law of Max and Spring Kapchinski, Jr. of Katy, Texas, Lacey and Tim James of New Braunfels, Texas, Kimberly and Brent Spivey of Dallas, Texas; and caring aunt of Claire, Tripp, Brooke, Noland and Carter.

The family extends their thanks & appreciation to Dr. Beth Hellerstedt of Texas Oncology and her staff for providing the best care possible to Carrie over the past six years.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established an education fund for Declan at Wells Fargo Bank.
